Mid-Year Check-In

Congratulations! We have made it to the middle of the year. June is a great time to take inventory of your year thus far and start to make plans for the remainder of the year and beyond. Here are some tasks you should consider as we head into the second half of the year:

Budget for Future Workshops and Trainings

Whether your fiscal year ends on June 30 or December 31, now is a good time to start thinking about your budget for upcoming trainings and workshops. Maybe your team needs a retreat to solve a difficult problem or reconnect as a group. Perhaps there are critical workshops your organization should attend every year. Budget for these activities first, and then begin the process to find a facilitator who can help you meet your needs.

Team Recognition

Your team has been working hard. Start thinking about how you will recognize your staff at the end of the year. Team appreciation is essential for team morale and retention.

Break the Status Quo in 2025

Now is the time to start thinking about how you will break the status quo in 2025. Listen to your team and take on a suggestion that’s outside of the box. Examine the way that you lead. How can you push yourself to be a more innovative leader? Sometimes it takes six months of thinking before we’re ready to act. Now is the time to start laying the foundation.
